The FDSA U14 boy’s premiership team finished second behind Moncton first touch in the NBSL premiership league.  The final game was held at Arthur Miller field in Rothesay at 10:00am Sunday, August 31st.  The final score was 3 to 1 for Moncton.

FDSA’s goal was scored by Tommy MacLean.

The FDSA Caps U12 Boys team captured gold at the provincial premiership soccer championships held in Rothesay today win an exciting 5-4 overtime win over Dieppe.  The two teams were tied 4-4 after regulation time and two five minute overtime periods, before the Fredericton squad pulled out the win in a shoot out. Andrew Stapleton scored the decided shoot out goal for the Caps.

The FDSA U12 Premiership Boys advanced to the final of the provincial premiership championship today with a 3-1 win over Fundy #2 in Rothesay NB, in the first of two semi-finals played today.  The championship final will be played at Arthur Miller field in Rothesay, tomorrow at 10AM against the winner of the South East Junior Rams and Dieppe semi-final.

The FDSA Caps completed play in the Aliant New Brunswick Soccer League play on Sunday Aug. 24th with a 10 – 0 win over Chaleur on the Grand-Barachois field.  The win gives the FDSA Caps a final league record of 13 - 1 -1 ( win, loss and tie ) and first place.  The FDSA Caps will play the 4th place finisher in one semi final this Saturday Aug. 30th in Rothsay NB as part of the provincial premiership U12 Boys championship tournament.
