Hard as it might be to believe, justFRED.ca served up its one-millionth page earlier today. That's a lot earlier than we expected to hit this very major milestone.

We also added a full audio interview today, several hundred photos, a video of the weekend Queen concert (we've been waiting for permission and received it earlier today)...

So that means it must be time to celebrate. The way we usually do that is to give stuff away.

Yep, video.

As you may have noticed by now, we're always tinkering with some newfangled feature or other. Tonight, we've added our first full motion video clip to our galleries. It's yours truly playing Richard, a homeless man, during the Big Hearts for the Homeless Valentine's show at The Playhouse this evening.

It's a QuickTime Movie, so you'll need QuickTime to view it. We're doing some testing with other formats.

And one minor breakthrough - we were able to use an image from the video as the thumbnail rather than a rather dorky QT File icon that is the default.

Love to hear what you think of this new feature.

Guys - only three days left. Three and a half if you cheat and get your sweetie something on the day of. Cutting it close is always dangerous, but better than not making the cut at all.

Ladies - There's no need to remind you. The calendar part of your brains know exactly the number of days before Christmas 2008, never mind the number of days until Valentines. We do think about it, and we do mean well - honest - but the calendar part of our brains are generally synchronized with various sports related events which, because they are larger and noisier, tend to push the romantic stuff off to one side. These are scientific facts. Just ask a phsychologist.
